# vi /etc/inittab      ### Disable X Server

Change "id:5:initdefault:" to "id:3:initdefault:"

 

# cat /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-nouveau.conf    ### Disable nouveau

blacklist nvidiafb
blacklist nouveau
blacklist rivafb
blacklist rivatv
blacklist vga16fb
options nouveau modeset=0

 

# vi /etc/grub.conf     ### edit /etc/grub.conf, and add 'rdblacklist=nouveau vga=346'

kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64 ro root=/dev/mapper/vg_cho-lv_root rd_NO_LUKS LANG=en_US.UTF-8 rd_LVM_LV=vg_cho/lv_swap rd_NO_MD quiet SYSFONT=latarcyrheb-sun16 rhgb rd_LVM_LV=vg_cho/lv_root  KEYBOARDTYPE=pc KEYTABLE=us rd_NO_DM rdblacklist=nouveau vga=346    ## 추가

# sync;sync;reboot

 

# sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-295.59.run   ### Install NVDIA driver

 

# vi /etc/inittab   ### Enable X Server

"id:3:initdefault:" restore to "id:5:initdefault:"

# sync;sync;reboot


※Check the driver installation with terminal command:
# nvidia-settings

# vi /etc/ld.so.conf
